Insight Into… Our 4th Birthday

If you missed our 4th Birthday Festivities last month, here is a round-up of the milestones that we celebrated and how we marked the auspicious occasion.

Over the last four years we have been fortunate enough to be able to grow the Insight family so that we are now a team of 40. That’s 40 people who are dedicated to their clients, leaders in the industry, knowledgeable about the markets they operate in and, most importantly, all-round good people who are working hard to put a little bit of good back into the world.

Our goal for the future is to employ 100 people and we are well on-track to meet this target without compromising on the quality of the people we recruit.

Talking of recruitment, over the years we have made huge strides in our leadership team through the appointment of no less than four incredible directors to our board. Mike Smith, Sean McCleary, Steve Clark & Chris Ashton are all dedicated leaders who bring an unrivalled amount of experience and insight to the company.

When we interviewed him recently, MD Sean, divulged four key thoughts on the company’s growth and what it means:

  • Importantly, the vision and culture of Insight that we originally set out to create has not been lost
  • We are as passionate today as we always have been about putting the customer at the heart of everything we do and doing things in the right way
  • The calibre of the clients who are reaching out to Insight is getting better with every enquiry
  • The individuals within our business have evolved alongside the company

Our other board directors are as follows:

  • Mike Smith is our new Chairman. Mike shares our values, will help drive our expansion and he brings a wealth of expertise in terms of industry knowledge and how to grow a business both at home and abroad.
  • Steve Clark is expertly heading up our Engineering Division and is also Head of Contract Law. His amazing relationships with small-to-medium sized businesses as well as large companies is second-to-none.
  • Chris Ashton is heading up the IT side of the business. His wealth of knowledge and expertise is unrivalled, and we are excited to see how he takes the Insight’s IT practices to even higher specialist levels.

It seems as though four is our magic number at the moment because as part of our exciting growth trajectory, we have also launched four new initiatives: Our Insight Academy, Client Solution Arm, Delivery Function and Let’s Get Disruptive podcast.

Within the market itself we want to continue to be recognised as experts and to give back to the community as well. Our newly launched ‘Let’s Get Disruptive’ Podcast series is a something we’re really excited about as we believe it truly sets us apart. We have already interviewed some truly inspirational industry experts and we can’t wait to meet even more.

The same can be said about our new academy function. As Megan Simpson, Head of Academy, will attest to, our newly established Training Academy is designed to give people who are pursuing a career in recruitment a head-start and create the right foundations so that they have the best possible chance to have a successful career.

Talking of careers, we’re obviously very busy at the moment seeking out new careers for candidates across the North West and working hard with some of the best companies to work for in the region. As a testament to this, we have more than 40 new customers already committed to partnering with Insight this year.

And how could we ‘four-get’ the last piece of the puzzle in our 4th Birthday celebrations? As many people already know we are also currently preparing to launch our new website. This is a project that we’ve been engineering behind the scenes and we believe it is a great representation of our market knowledge, expertise, value and personality as an agency. We can’t wait to unveil it!

So that we have it, four years of success, four amazing board directors, four fantastic business initiatives and 40 new customers. We’re certain you can’t beat that for a momentous celebration!
