From 6 April 2021, off-payroll rules will change. All public sector authorities and medium and large-sized private sector clients will be responsible for deciding if the rules apply, transferring the responsibility of determining a contractor’s IR35 status. The worker’s intermediary will responsible for deciding their employment status and if the rules apply.
