Critical Facilities Shift Technician – Frankfurt

Rotation: Bi-rotation

Role Overview

We are seeking experienced Critical Facilities Shift Technicians to support the operation and maintenance of a live data centre facility in Frankfurt.

Candidates must have previous data centre experience and the right to work in Germany.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain critical data centre infrastructure.
• Monitor and maintain UPS systems, generators, chillers, electrical distribution and BMS.
• Carry out routine inspections, preventative maintenance and fault finding.
• Respond to equipment faults and operational issues within the facility.
• Perform electrical switching and isolation procedures safely and in accordance with site procedures.
• Support planned maintenance and operational activities within a live data centre environment.
• Maintain high standards of safety, compliance and operational reliability.

Requirements

• 5+ years' experience operating and maintaining critical infrastructure within a live data centre environment.
• Data centre experience is essential.
• Strong knowledge of critical systems including UPS, generators, chillers, electrical distribution and BMS.
• Electrical switching experience/authorisation.
• Must have the right to work in Germany.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a shift-based team.
• Strong understanding of health & safety and critical environment procedures.
• German language skills are advantageous but not essential.
