Here at Insight Recruitment, we’re excited to further grow our UK Tech team as we aim to explore new markets. Megan Valentine joins the Insight family in the position of Recruitment Consultant.

About Megan:

As a Recruitment Consultant at Insight, I specialise in the React market, placing frontend software engineers at all experience levels in the most lucrative React roles across Europe.

Why are you excited to work within this market?

The React market is very up-and-coming, and there is a high demand for experienced engineers who work in this sector, which is very exciting. I am also looking forward to supporting clients who are driven by inclusion, diversity, and sustainability.

What’s your background?

I graduated from Liverpool John Moores University this year, with a degree in Forensic Science, and worked as a Recruitment Consultant for 6 months prior to joining Insight. I have acquired lots of transferrable skills from my previous recruitment role, particularly resilience and accountability.

Why did you join Insight?

I joined Insight because I believed the company values matched with my own personal values. They also have an extremely supportive environment, with structured training in place, which is an important factor for me – particularly when joining a new job!

Most recruitment companies have cut-throat environments, with a lack of empathy and consideration for employee welfare.
