Here at Insight Recruitment, we are looking to expand our Tech division, explore new markets and continue company growth with the support of our newest addition. Jake Henshaw-Cox joins the Insight family in the position of Data Engineering Recruitment Consultant.

About Jake:

I’m Jake and I’m a Recruitment Consultant at Insight, specialising in the Data Engineering market. I will be working with Mid-Senior Engineers based within Software and Data Industries across the South east of England.

Why are you excited to work within this market?

The most exciting thing about this market is it’s so specialised and when a pool candidates are found they are all equally experienced and qualified.

What’s your background?

I graduated from Salford University in 2021 and decided to begin my recruitment career at Insight after leaving the hospitality industry. I have learnt many transferable skills from my past experiences which can support me in my new role, such as comfortability working in a team and with new clients as well as analytical skills taken from my Biochemistry degree.

Why did you join Insight?

Straight away I could see a personalised approach to Insight over other companies which instantly drew me.

What does Insight’s purpose of Empowering Sustainable Growth mean to you?

It’s relieving to know that my future is in my plans and that Insight will support me moving forward, delivering a clear plan of where they want the business and its consultants to progress.

When I studied in America I got evacuated due to Covid and had to get home on crutches without a passport lol.
