As a Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for planning, directing, managing and providing oversight of assigned Multi-Utility projects to ensure that goals and objectives are accomplished within prescribed schedule and budget parameters.
What you’ll be doing
• Agreeing the timescales, costs and resources needed to deliver the project
• Selecting and leading a project team
• Negotiating with contractors and suppliers for materials and services
• Reporting regularly on progress to the client
• Maintaining effective communication with stakeholders
• Resolving any issues/ delays which may occur
• Communicating with clients, contractors, colleagues and suppliers on the progress of a project
• Demonstrating knowledge of all areas of construction
• Making sure all paperwork is done for making bids and spending
• Any other reasonable requests as required by the needs of the business.

What we’re looking for:
• You must have knowledge of the construction industry, adoption agreements, self-lay agreements and addendums also legal easements and right of ways
• Proven experience of project management within large scale construction projects [ideally data centers or substations]
• IOSH or equivalent 4 day Managing Safely Course
• NVQ level 4 or equivalent
• Computer literate
• Strong organisational and management skills
• Proven technical and project management skills
• Knowledge of the requirements and implementation of CDM regulations
• Detailed knowledge of Safety, Quality and Environmental issues relevant to the project environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
