Job Title: Pharmaceutical Construction - Project Manager

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Planning and Coordination: Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation. Coordinate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure all project phases are aligned with the company’s objectives.

  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all construction activities comply with Dutch building codes, environmental regulations, and pharmaceutical industry standards, including Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) guidelines.

  • Quality Assurance: Oversee the implementation of quality control measures throughout the construction process. Ensure that all materials and workmanship meet the specified quality standards.

  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact on the project timeline and budget. Conduct regular risk assessments and adjust project plans accordingly.

  • Budget Management: Monitor project expenditures and ensure the project stays within budget. Provide regular financial reports to stakeholders.

  • Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for all project stakeholders, including senior management, contractors, and regulatory bodies. Provide regular updates on project progress and address any issues that arise.

  • Team Leadership: Manage and lead a multidisciplinary team of professionals, including construction managers, engineers, and site supervisors. Foster a collaborative and safety-first work environment.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in construction project management, preferably in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry.
  • Strong knowledge of Dutch building regulations, environmental laws, and GMP standards.
  • Proven track record of delivering large-scale construction projects on time and within budget.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills.
