Job Title: Perception Engineer

We’re looking for talented Senior & Staff Perception Engineers to develop and optimize real-time perception systems that enable robots to see, understand, and interact with the world.
While still a small team, our client are already deploying with world-leading companies. You’d have the opportunity to shape key systems from the early stages.
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement real-time computer vision algorithms for perception on hardware-constrained systems
- Develop robust, production-grade C++ code for visual-inertial odometry, tracking, and 3D understanding
- Interface directly with sensors—camera ADCs, IMUs, and firmware—to maximize signal quality and performance
- Build and maintain custom perception pipelines without relying on ROS or external frameworks
- Contribute across the stack, from low-level sensor handling to high-level spatial reasoning
- Own critical perception features from prototype to deployment in the field
- Collaborate in a small, high-ownership team where your code runs on the product, not just in test environments
Requirements:
- B.S./M.S./Ph.D. in Computer Science, Robotics, or related field
- Strong experience with C++, Python, and deep learning frameworks
- Experience with visual-inertial odometry, SLAM, or 3D perception algorithms
- Deep understanding of camera systems, IMUs, and low-level sensor interfacing
- Thrives in fast-paced, collaborative environments with high product ownership
