CSA Quantity Surveyor – Data Centre Construction
Location: Netherlands
Key Responsibilities:

Cost Estimation and Budget Management: Prepare and manage accurate cost estimates for all CSA components of the data centre project. Monitor budgets, forecast costs, and report any variances to project stakeholders.

Contract Administration: Oversee the preparation, negotiation, and management of contracts related to civil, structural, and architectural works. Ensure all contractual obligations are met by contractors and suppliers.

Cost Control and Valuation: Implement effective cost control measures throughout the project lifecycle. Conduct regular valuations of work completed and ensure timely and accurate payments to contractors.

Procurement: Assist in the procurement process for CSA-related services and materials. Evaluate tenders, negotiate with suppliers, and manage the procurement schedule to align with project timelines.

Risk Management: Identify and manage financial risks associated with the CSA aspects of the project. Provide advice on potential cost impacts of design changes, delays, and other project variables.

Reporting: Prepare and present regular financial reports to the project management team, detailing cost performance, forecasts, and any potential financial risks.

Compliance and Quality Assurance: Ensure all CSA works are carried out in compliance with local regulations, industry standards, and the project’s quality requirements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor, with specific experience in CSA works on large-scale construction projects, preferably in the data centre or technology sector.
- Strong knowledge of construction contracts, cost management principles, and procurement processes.
- Proficiency in quantity surveying software and tools (e.g., CostX, Bluebeam, MS Excel).
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Professional accreditation (e.g., RICS, CIOB) is highly desirable.
- Experience working on international projects or in the Netherlands is a plus.
